Midstream Methodist is a: Community church - a church who wants to make a difference in the local community.

Serving church - we want to serve the community by being the hands and feet of Jesus Christ.

Praying church - only by staying dependent on our heavenly Father, can we have the strength and courage to serve.

Caring church - all people matter to God and need to be cared for spiritually, emotionally and pastoral.

Family church - everybody, irrespective of culture and language, is welcome to be part of the family of Jesus Christ through Midstream Methodist.

Our basic belief is based on the Holy Scriptures. All people have sinned and need forgiveness. Through God's amazing grace we can only find forgiveness and salvation in Jesus Christ. We believe that the Holy Spirit still works powerfully in the hearts and minds of all who respond to Christ in faith. The Christian life is a process of becoming Christ-like. It is our prayer that through Midstream Methodist Church, people will find the life of abundance which is only in Jesus Christ, our Lord and Saviour
