He Holds My Hand

There’s a battle going on between good and evil, and make no mistake, it’s a fierce one that Satan intends to win. But as Christians, we have nothing to fear! We know with absolute certainty that God wins the war! When life seems frustrating, wrong, and unfair, remember that it’s not the end of the story, just the end of a chapter. The book God is writing has many, many chapters. So when the days seem dark and dreary, and our hearts are heavy with sadness, remember that this world is temporary! We don’t have much longer on this earth—Jesus is coming soon! There’s a song that gives encouragement to those who have grown weary, and the words go like this: “I don’t know about tomorrow, I just live from day to day. I don’t borrow from its sunshine, for its skies may turn to gray. I don’t worry about my future, for I know what Jesus said. And today He walks beside me, for He knows what lies ahead. Many things about tomorrow, I don’t seem to understand, but I know who holds tomorrow, and I know who holds my hand.” Texts: Isaiah 41:10, Psalm 3:3, Isaiah 60:1, Zephaniah 3:17, Psalm 73:23
