Sometimes people can get so busy going through their daily routines, it isn’t long before one day just rolls into the next, and before they know it, life becomes drudgery. Their quality of life is so poor that they lose their joy. They wake up each day and just go through the motions of living, then drag themselves home at night, dropping into bed discouraged, depressed, and exhausted, only to get up the next day and do it all over again. Sadly, there are lots of people in this category, but it doesn’t have to be this way. There’s so much more to life! If only they would surrender their hearts and lives to Jesus. He alone is the real joy of living! With Jesus in your life, you can experience real joy and happiness even through the darkest storm. He will pull you out of your daily rut and give you reasons to rejoice and sing! Psalm 5:11 (KJV) says, “But let all those that put their trust in thee rejoice; let them ever shout for joy, because thou defendest them: let them also that love thy name be joyful in thee.” Yes, Jesus is the joy of living!
